PROFESSIONAL TRIX LEAGUE (PTL)

It's official! After years of spells of playing Trix with friends in and out of the country, at home, outside in cafes, or even online, we finally have taken our beloved game to the next level. Introducing to you, the 'Professional Trix League' soon to be sponsored*.
Kicking off officially only amongst one circle of friends in Abu Halifa, Kuwait exclusively in Ramadan of 2018, it got pretty heated up very soon. Let's all strive to keep playing more and more until we can provide the "shaam" countries level of recognition and maximise the trash talking only as long as the game is being played. Happy doubling!

LEAGUE RULES:

1. All games are played in Trix Complex Partner format, Jawaker.com style.
2. Every two people who play together must have a team name, which must be a private joke/reference between the two and it may not be changed. The latest time to decide this name is before the first game you play, ends. If you do not have a name by then, the win doesn't count for the unnamed.
3. All matches are in best of three format i.e. you must win at least two games against the same team to have a game point. (Between some heated duos you can even take it to a higher level by making best of three game-points, to eventually win the match/set between you two teams. That's the meta level of inception gaming we strive for with the best of teams.)
4. Every time you win a game i.e. the first two of three, and want to play the next game to conquer the whole match, you must change the seating arrangement of the players.
5. Games and  matches can go on for as long as the players want, keeping the score of matches won in the best two of three fashion, numerous times.
6. Everything is absolutely free, unless you decide to put in an entry fee with a prize.

GAME RULES:

Basically all the rules of the normal game as explained in other posts, with the emphasizing of a few for professionalism.

1. When your partner is going through the cards to choose the game (Trix or Complex), you are not allowed to pick your cards until the game has been chosen. This is done to ensure fair play.
2. In Complex, everyone who has a card to double must place it face down, and turned over all together only once everyone has doubled. This is to avoid specific suit doubling (after looking at someone else's doubled card).
3. If a card has been played on the surface/left the player's hand, it cannot be taken back (unless it's illegal there). In Complex, if you throw down a card that's illegal (which may be a sign to your partner) then change it, it counts as a Yellow Card foul. If the same team has two Yellow Card fouls in a game, they get -500 that round.
4. If there is any deliberate cheating in Complex, or someone making a Pass in Trix where they could have played a card and 2 rounds have passed, their team takes minimum points in that round (150 in Trix, -500 in Complex). This also applies to the one who throws down all remaining cards before all have been played, no matter what other outcome could have arisen.
5. Try to talk as less as possible and play as fast as possible for two reasons: firstly, to avoid cheating/signalling during pauses, and secondly, to not forget the count of cards in your short-term memory. Needless to mention, any talking/signalling/expression of emotion to reveal your hand counts as cheating and the opponents have a right to claim maximum points if legit.
6. If someone (currently winning) disrupts the game in Complex by spoiling the collected/unplayed hands 'by mistake in celebration', that round gets repeated. If it's the first round of a Kingdom, then the round to play can be chosen again. If someone who isn't winning disrupts any counting/hands, they take -500 points.
